Tire Debeader

A tire debeader is a specialized piece of equipment used to remove the steel wire from the bead area of waste tires. The bead wire is the strong, internal steel ring of the tire that enhances its structural integrity.

In the tire recycling process, the bead wire must be separated first because it is extremely tough and durable. If not removed beforehand, it can cause significant damage to the subsequent shredding or grinding equipment.

Two Types of Tyre Debeader

Single Hook Tire Drawing Machine

• Function: This machine removes the steel bead from one side of the tire. It is suitable for smaller-scale recycling operations or when only one side of the bead needs to be removed.
• Working Method: The hook grabs the steel bead on one side of the tire, and the hydraulic system drives it to pull the bead out.

Double Hook Tire Debeader

• Function: This machine removes the steel beads from both sides of the tire simultaneously, improving work efficiency. It is suitable for recycling plants that need to handle large volumes of tires.
• Working Method: The two hooks work at the same time, each grabbing the steel bead on one side of the tire, and the hydraulic system drives both beads to be removed simultaneously.

How the Tyre Debeader Works?

The machine is mainly composed of a frame, motor, hydraulic system, pulling hook, pulling nozzle, and so on, and its working principle is as follows:

• Placing the Tire: The tire is placed on the holder, ensuring the steel beads are properly aligned with the hooks.
• Hook Grabbing: The hooks, controlled by the hydraulic system, automatically extend to grab the steel beads from the tire.
• Hydraulic Drive: When the motor starts, the hydraulic system provides power, allowing the hooks to move back and forth along the tire’s sidewall, pulling the steel bead out.
• Steel Bead Separation: Under the strong hydraulic pressure, the hooks continuously pull the steel beads, ultimately separating them from the tire on both sides.
