The OTR debeader is a powerful and specialized machine designed to extract the thick and tough steel wires from the bead section of large OTR (off-the-road) tires. It is a crucial first step in OTR tire recycling, helping separate the valuable steel from the rubber while reducing wear and tear on downstream machines.

Application & Function

This equipment is suitable for large tires from mining trucks, engineering vehicles, and heavy-duty transport vehicles. These tires contain robust steel bead wires that need to be removed before shredding or further size reduction.

This OTR debeader is engineered to pull out the entire steel bead in one go, leaving the tire structure intact for the next stage of recycling.

Working Principle of OTR Debeader Machine

1. The operator places the OTR tire onto the hook system.
2. The hydraulic system controls the steel hook to tightly grip the tire.
3. Once secured, the pulling mechanism is activated.
4. The machine exerts powerful hydraulic force to extract the steel wire ring from the tire bead area.
5. The separated steel wire can be collected for recycling, and the tire moves on for further processing.
